Q&A

  1. How did you start with photo/video?

I started as a boy scout with disposable 35mm cameras, taking pictures of outdoor scenery, moving on to astrophotography and hobby astronomy with my first SLR: A Canon AE1!

  2. How would you describe your style?

    Astronomical!

  3. What inspires you?

The big questions: About space and our place in it. And the glow in childrens eyes when they realize how big it is.

  4. What is your dream shoot or project?

Northern lights during a total solar eclipse, and a supernova in our own galaxy; the Milky Way.

  5. What is your best advice to others that want to develop as photographers?

The darkness is challenging to photograph but fun! Just go for it, and eventually you will find fantastic beauty.

What is in your bag?

  1. What is the most important in your bag?
A meteorite! It’s hard to just talk-the-talk about space, so: You need a prop!

  2. What bag do you use?
    B&W Outdoor Cases 5000.
