Göran is a photographer based in Östersund, Sweden with a passion for astronomy and sports. He has been recognized as Astrophotographer of the Year in Sweden 2013 and 2016. Göran’s work has been published in NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day, National Geographic, Discovery Channel and SpaceWeather.com. His spectactular photos of the Northern lights phenomenon have been published both as postal stamps and used in Coldplay’s music videos.

- How did you start with photo/video?
My passion for astronomy turned me into an astrophotographer. - How would you describe your style?
My specialty is astrophotography and different light phenomenon in the sky. I have been doing astro photography since mid 1990's. - What inspires you?
Other creative photographers. - What is your dream shoot or project?
A dream would be to capture a new light phenomenon that never been seen or captured before. - What is your best advice to others that want to develop as photographers?
Be patient and curious. Also, always keep an eye on the sky.
