The Arca-type base and 1/4"-20 threaded socket allow you to quickly switch between different heads and tripods.
This adapter works perfectly on a video head (two-way head), as for example Sirui VA-5.
You can mount your binoculars with a thumb-screw and if you need, tighten it up with an included allen key.
