The Pentax WG-1000 has a 1/2.3" back-illuminated CMOS sensor with approximately 16.35 effective megapixels, can record Full HD quality video and has a 4x zoom equivalent to 27-108mm in 35mm. The camera has a built-in flash and offers seven different shooting modes and 20 different color filter modes to help you get the look you want.
Another special feature of the WG-1000 is that it can be sterilized with special solvents containing ethanol, sodium hypochlorite (approved for food disinfection) or chlorine dioxide. This means it can be used in medical facilities or on construction sites. The camera has a JIS Class 6 dustproof classification against dirt and stains and even shockproof against falls from a height of up to two metres.
